Symphony Strings selects high quality instruments from around the world in order to offer our clients the best choices for their particular needs. We provide instruments from small, boutique shops whose artisans pay more attention to detail and quality of workmanship. Although this attention would usually mean a higher price, Symphony Strings strives to give our clients high quality violins, violas, cellos and string basses at far lower prices than stores with high overhead and expenses.

What you get with a Symphony Select Instrument?

Whether new or previously owned, your Select instrument from Symphony Strings will be expertly set up, adjusted, cleaned and tuned. Your instrument will be ready to play with new, high quality strings and bow. All instruments will have a Humitron humidifier and cellos will have a wolf tone eliminator installed at no extra cost.

Cases for previously owned instruments will be repaired and cleaned or replaced as needed to guarantee protection for your instrument.

Symphony Strings LLC stocks only solid spruce top instruments for the advancing player. These instruments come from top makers from Europe and Asia.They come with bag or hardcase and bow for prices that are typically 30 to 40% less than the suggested retail price. I meet with clients and bring 3 or more instruments as well as a selection of bows from which to choose.
